Salary: From 1 500 EUR gross/monthly

(The stated salary represents the minimum for this position. Final compensation is determined individually based on your experience, expertise, seniority, and overall profile. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus linked to individual results and the company’s success.)

About the team:

Our Slovak team at PwC Advisory s.r.o., mainly based in Bratislava, works closely with PwC Germany as a nearshore consulting team supporting transformation projects in the financial services sector. We bring together strong German language capabilities, consulting skills, and understanding of banking, insurance and other FS domains.

We have been fully & seamlessly integrated with PwC Germany but you will also be part of the Slovak technology consulting team and will have the opportunity to be involved in activities in both countries.

As a Process Consultant – Technology Consulting (German Projects), you will take a key role in supporting banks, insurance companies, and investment firms through complex transformation projects, accompanying them from initial analysis through to the successful implementation of technological and organizational change.

Job description & summary :

As a Process Consultant, you will work closely with client stakeholders to analyze existing operational processes in back-office and middle-office environments, developing solutions that drive digitization, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. In addition to hands-on process optimization, you will actively participate in the deployment of modern technologies such as Business Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Process Mining, gaining practical experience with tools shaping the future of the financial sector.

You are expected to take ownership within traditional and agile project structures, contributing to data preparation, presentations, and decision templates for management, while directly supporting project success. Through comprehensive training via our Digital Upskilling Academy and Technology Communities, alongside mentoring and a buddy system, you will continuously grow your skills and gradually take on broader responsibilities.

Imagine working on project like:

Service Desk Optimization – You analyze current ITSM processes, identify bottlenecks in ticket handling, and redesign workflows to reduce resolution time. You implement SLAs, create dashboards using Microsoft 365 and Atlassian tools, and present monthly KPIs showing improvements in service quality. 

Requirements of the role 

• You have completed your studies in economics, business administration, business informatics, business engineering, or a comparable field or already have up to 1 year of practical experience in banking, asset or wealth management, or consulting
• Basic understanding and interest in technology solutions enhancing efficiency and driving innovation. Eager to explore new technologies such as business analytics, RPA, and process mining to improve business processes and increase efficiency.
• Interest in digital transformation and innovative solutions, as well as willingness to learn new tools and methods
• Strong analytical and communication skills and enjoyment in team collaboration
• Motivated, ambitious, and committed personality with a positive attitude
• Strong learning mindset and willingness to continuously develop professional and consulting skills.
• Experience using German at B2-C1 level and English at C1 level in a professional environment
• Proactive approach to using AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Power BI, etc.) and digital technologies to improve efficiency, support informed decision-making, solve complex problems, and embrace continuous learning in a rapidly evolving workplace
