Job Description:
Construction Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership, governance and assurance for safe, predictable and efficient field execution on the Bluesky project at Kwinana Energy Hub. This is achieved through:
Providing visible construction leadership and HSSE governance and self verification.
Leading contract performance and delivery of critical site construction services.
Ensuring robust construction execution readiness, contractor assurance and field delivery support.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Champion HSSE across all construction activities, ensuring compliance with BP standards and safe execution in the field.
Provide construction input, readiness support and manage all construction activities, ensuring effective pre mobilisation planning, execution preparedness and field delivery support.
Develop and support the Bluesky construction execution strategy through all stages of the project lifecycle.
Provide construction input during front-end loading, constructability reviews, construction feasibility and assurance reviews.
Maintain accountability for the Construction Execution Plan and contribute to construction aspects of the Project Execution Plan.
Manage interfaces between the project and key stakeholders, including Operations, Maintenance and contractors to ensure safe and efficient SIMOPS execution.
Drive continuous improvement in construction execution, contractor performance and field productivity.
Provide construction assurance and self-verification, including oversight of contractors
Establish and maintain a disciplined self verification and oversight process that provides confidence in construction readiness, execution quality and compliance with project, HSSE and technical requirements.
Monitor contractor safety, quality, cost and schedule performance against agreed contractual requirements.
