Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure
DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we’re just getting started.
As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.
If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.
About DayOne
DayOne builds and operates hyperscale data centers across nine markets in APAC and Europe. We raised US$4.5B in Series C funding and are in active build across the region. As DayOne's footprint grows across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, the client relationships behind that infrastructure need the same level of accountability as the build itself — this role owns that.
Across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong, DayOne operates some of the region's most active hyperscale campuses — from Johor's largest LEED-certified data center footprint to Thailand's build toward its first 1GW platform. This role can be based in any of these markets, working alongside local delivery teams on live client accounts.
About the Role
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers across project delivery and ongoing service operations, owning outcomes from initial construction through to live SLA performance. This is a senior, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of project management, technical delivery, and client relationship management. You'll lead virtual delivery teams, manage the full lifecycle of data center construction and customization projects, and be accountable for service quality once the facility is live.
Client Relationship and Delivery Ownership
Act as the primary point of contact for customers across all aspects of project delivery and ongoing service operations.
Build trust-based client relationships and act as a strategic advisor, not just a delivery coordinator.
Manage service delivery in line with SLAs and agreed delivery costs, leading a virtual delivery team to drive customer satisfaction.
Project Delivery
Lead data center construction and customization projects end to end, working closely with Sales, Presales, Design, Construction, and Testing and Commissioning teams.
Manage project schedules, quality, costs, risks, and escalations through to timely closure and customer acceptance.
Coordinate internal resources for both project implementation and service operations in line with company standards and customer requirements.
Service Operations and Continuous Improvement
Manage SLA performance and customer satisfaction during the ongoing operations phase, working with data center operations, network, and IT service teams.
Drive continuous improvement and proactive risk mitigation across live service delivery.
Ensure compliance with internal processes including procurement, audit requirements, and ITIL standards.
Requirements
Technical Skills
7 or more years of experience in the data center industry, MEP consultancy, or construction, with direct exposure to project delivery and client management.
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, ITIL frameworks, and SLA management.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across the full delivery lifecycle, from construction through to live operations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in Mandarin and English, required for client and stakeholder engagement across DayOne's Mandarin-speaking customer base.
Soft Skills
Manages client relationships with the credibility of a trusted advisor, not just a delivery coordinator.
Mediates competing priorities and stakeholder conflicts without losing sight of the customer outcome.
Communicates clearly in writing, producing reports and updates that keep clients and internal teams aligned without follow-up questions.
Nice to Have
Experience managing hyperscale or mission-critical data center accounts across multiple markets simultaneously.
Exposure to cross-border or multi-entity service delivery environments.
Familiarity with data center construction customization and handover processes.
Why DayOne?
DayOne is expanding fast across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, and this role sits at the center of how that expansion lands with clients. You'll own the full relationship, from construction through to live SLA performance, work across some of the most technically demanding infrastructure in the region, and have real cross-functional scope from day one.
DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
