D Shift

Wednesday-Saturday 5:30pm-4:00am

$22.30

Forklift Operators is a position responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

• Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include but are not limited to Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving.   
• Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion.
• Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs.
• Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs.
• Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts).
• Must be able and willing to stand throughout 10–12-hour shifts. 
• Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

12 months Stand up Forklift operator experience in the last 3 years.

Cold storage experience preferred.

• Must be able to meet minimum productivity percentage.
• Must be able to continuously pick up to 40 lbs.
• Must be willing to train for and pass forklift license training, as well as read and understand to operate RF equipment.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends. 
• Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given.
• Must be willing to learn other duties.

Proficiency in reading and writing.
