Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Support in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will join a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
