Mail Order/Customer Service Operator - Seasonal

The Big Island Candies experience doesn't begin with a customer taking that first bite of one of our confections, it starts with us providing customer service with sincerity, whether it's before - or after - an order is placed. Looking for an opportunity with a brand that values quality confections and customer service? We have a position open for a Mail Order/Customer Service Operator (Seasonal) at our Hilo location.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Deliver exceptional service to all of our customers, uphold company Quality Standards, and represent the company in a professional and positive manner;
• Answer incoming telephone calls, and emails, to assist customers with their orders;
• Field customer questions through phone and email;
• Make outgoing telephone calls and send emails in order to correspond with customers as needed, regarding, but not limited to, updates about an order, customer issues, etc.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Skills, qualifications and attributes include:

• Have excellent customer service skills;
• Work well independently as well as part of a team to meet operational goals;
• Must be able to read, write and speak English;
• Possess basic math skills.
• Have previous computer experience;
• Must be able to work in a limited-space work environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday Call Center hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm (various day shifts) starting late September or early October. Weekend shifts: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. will be available starting mid-November.
• Extended hours and shift changes may be required during peak seasons (November and December) to meet deadlines or due to operational needs.
