Hiring Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hiring Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in our talent acquisition process. As a Hiring Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hiring process, ensuring that we attract, screen, and hire top talent efficiently. You will work closely with hiring managers, and other HR professionals to ensure a smooth and seamless hiring experience for all candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the hiring process from job posting to onboarding, including but not limited to assisting with screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating offers, and onboarding new hires.
• Source and identify qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including online job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicants and candidates, including resumes, applications, and interview feedback.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, answering their questions, providing updates, and addressing any concerns.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and other necessary documents.
• Track and report on hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
• Maintain a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain respectful, professional working relationships

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with Home Service Construction/Trades is a big plus though not required!

Requirements

• Background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Hiring Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
