What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul trucks and support equipment to safely transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Support daily production activities by assisting with loading, dumping, stockpiling, and site housekeeping.
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient quarry operations and achieve production goals.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, construction, or similar environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify concerns, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Dependable work ethic with the flexibility to support changing operational needs and schedules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
