The Opportunity
As a Legal Assistant, your core function is completing legal administrative tasks as efficiently and accurately as possible with a positive disposition and eagerness to deliver quality work that can be confidently and consistently relied upon. This role reports to the lawyers in the Commercial Litigation and Business Law Team and the Senior Personal Assistant in this team.

What You’ll Do
- Managed general administration and end-to-end legal matter management.
- Opened, maintained, and closed legal files while ensuring accurate electronic filing and record keeping.
- Drafted, formatted, and updated legal correspondence, documents, and templates based on precedents and lawyer instructions.
- Managed PDFs, exhibits, and electronic document execution processes.
- Prepared electronic briefs to Counsel using eBrief Ready and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Coordinated calendars, appointments, meetings, and monitored critical legal deadlines.
- Typed and professionally formatted legal documents using Phillips SpeechLive.
- Prepared client billing and maintained practice management databases with accurate matter information.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in the legal field or relevant.
- At least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or similar capacity in a Law firm.
- Someone with experience in Law and notary services, or have worked in an Australian firm is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain client confidentiality
Work setup:
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6am - 3pm PHT) with a full onsite setup.
