You will be responsible to:
• Perform daily accounting transactions for CCL operations including invoicing, billing and AP/AR activities related to cold chain services.
• Validate financial transactions ensuring alignment with temperature-controlled storage contracts, tariffs, and customer agreements.
• Support cost accounting for cold chain operations including storage, handling, transportation, and energy-related costs.
• Monitor and analyze actual vs. budgeted costs for cold storage facilities and distribution operations.
• Ensure accurate billing for specialized services such as temperature-controlled storage, blast freezing, and handling charges.
• Maintain financial records for CCL operations ensuring audit readiness and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and commercial teams to resolve discrepancies related to billing and service delivery.
• Support timely invoice processing and payment cycles ensuring SLA adherence for vendors and customers.
• Escalate non-standard issues such as pricing discrepancies, contractual ambiguities, or service deviations.
• Generate operational and financial reports related to cold chain performance (storage utilization, cost trends, revenue realization).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements specific to cold chain logistics (e.g., handling-sensitive goods, perishables).
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization within CCL finance and operations workflows.
Accountabilities
• Accurate and timely processing of financial transactions related to cold chain logistics operations.
• Compliance with accounting standards, contractual terms, and cold chain operational requirements.
• Maintenance of financial data integrity across systems supporting temperature-controlled logistics.
• Effective coordination and issue resolution with operations teams handling sensitive and perishable cargo.
We are looking for:
Qualification & Experience
• Atleast 2 yrs of required experience.
• Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting processes (AP/AR, billing, cost allocation)
• Awareness of cold chain logistics concepts (temperature-controlled storage, handling
requirements)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow standardized processes and ensure compliance
• Basic analytical skills for cost and revenue tracking
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Ability to manage routine tasks within defined timelines
• Working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Business/ Technical Knowledge
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Understanding of budgeting and cost tracking basics
• Familiarity with transactional finance tools and ERP systems
• Awareness of compliance and internal control requirements
• Basic understanding of logistics / CCL operations (preferred)
