About N-Power Medicine

N-Power Medicine aims to establish a new paradigm in drug development by reinventing the ‘how’ and transforming clinical trials through Prospective External Control Arms, better integration with clinical practice, and broader participation by physicians and patients.  We are building an exceptional multi-disciplinary team with diverse expertise spanning healthcare, engineering, technology and regulatory, and with people who share our core value of Empowering Community through generosity, curiosity and humility.  We are working with urgency to bring better therapies to patients faster.

Position Overview

N-Power Medicine is hiring a Director, Pharma Delivery Operations to lead a team responsible for the successful execution of NPM-sponsored studies and client contracts. This role sits at the intersection of pharma delivery and clinical operations, owning client relationships and contract performance while ensuring the operational, regulatory, and site-facing rigor needed to run compliant clinical studies. The ideal candidate is a people manager who can lead a team of Pharma Delivery and Clinical Operations staff, hold portfolio-level accountability, and move fluidly between client-facing strategy and clinical operations execution.

This is a hybrid role; Bay Area preferred, remote considered for the right candidate.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

People Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Delivery Operations Managers and/or Clinical Operations Leads, setting clear goals and providing regular performance feedback

  • Own hiring, onboarding, and capacity planning for the Delivery Operations team

  • Build team-level processes for knowledge sharing, escalation, and cross-coverage across studies

  • Represent the team's work and needs to the senior organization leadership

Client & Contract Management (Pharma Delivery)

  • Ensure teams fully understand contract scope, timelines, and deliverables, and translate contract terms into executable operational plans

  • Drive on-time, on-budget delivery across the portfolio; proactively identify and resolve risks before they reach the client

  • Partner with sales/business development on renewals, scope changes, and expansion opportunities informed by delivery performance

Clinical Operations

  • Oversee study operations across assigned NPM-sponsored studies (e.g., site management, protocol adherence, regulatory/IRB coordination, data quality)

  • Ensure compliance with GCP, IRB requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., 21 CFR, ICH E6(R3)) across the team's studies

  • Support site-level issue resolution, including protocol deviations, site pauses, and enrollment/delivery target management

  • Coordinate with regulatory, quality, and clinical science functions to keep study conduct audit-ready

Portfolio & Reporting

  • Design and maintain KPI tracking at the study and portfolio level; deliver clear, concise reporting to leadership and clients

  • Identify systemic operational gaps or risks across studies and drive process improvements

  • Standardize documentation, communication cadences, and escalation pathways across the team's studies
