The Role:
We’re seeking a versatile Manager, Go to Market with experience developing and executing campaigns across multiple channels and disciplines. Reporting to the Director of Go-to-Market, you’ll lead initiatives that drive client acquisition, engagement and loyalty for our Annual Health Assessment, Live Well Assessments and Programs.
In this role, you’ll craft effective go-to-market strategies, oversee execution, and measure results in a fast-paced environment. You’re a proactive self-starter who clarifies requirements early, anticipates challenges, and applies creative problem-solving. Organized and confident, you can prioritize and manage multiple projects while using insights to make data-driven decisions.
Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with teams in Product Management, Clinical Innovation, Thought Leadership, Growth (Sales), and Marketing to deliver campaigns for that support business objectives tailored to various segments and lifecycle stages. Your expertise spans a broad range of marketing tactics, enabling you to understand your portfolio to segment audiences deeply, and tailor approaches across diverse channels. Adaptable and curious, you thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and bring a proactive mindset to everything you do.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing campaigns and programs to drive the acquisition of new clients from multiple channels and tactics, including but not limited to digital and traditional media, owned channels, CRM, referral programs and events to reach both new and existing clients.
- Plan campaigns with precision, leveraging historical data, key insights, customer analysis and market trends to establish lead forecast targets, working closely with Sales & Analytics to measure ongoing performance to continuously optimize marketing strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to intake and understand new product launches, clinical innovations and enhancements that inform go-to-market plans and client communications.
- Write clear and accurate marketing briefs to outline all deliverables and objectives for agency partners and internal creative & content team(s).
- Develop and execute lifecycle management strategies that engage clients at each stage of their journey, including lead nurturing, pre- and post-appointment engagement, cross-sell and up-sell, retention and loyalty.
- Partner with Product, Operations, Clinical and Digital teams to identify opportunities to improve the client experience, increase usage of digital tools and create timely communications that encourage ongoing engagement with Medcan services.
- Measure and present ongoing performance metrics of GTM campaigns and programs, tying marketing results to business impact (sales, revenue, churn etc.) and key insights.
- Effectively use project management tools and best practices to develop timelines, track deliverables, manage project team resources and stakeholders, and meet in-market dates.
- Manage, coach and inspire a Campaign Specialist (direct report) who is responsible for day-to-day marketing activities that support campaign set-up, stakeholder management and follow-up, execution and measurement.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business (marketing and/or communications focus preferred) or other relevant areas of study.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive work experience with a focus on marketing communications and/or lifecycle management, with a minimum of 2 years’ people-management experience.
- Significant depth of knowledge and proven experience in marketing and multi-channel communications, and measurement
- Proven experience in marketing strategy and execution across digital ads, display, search, social media, email, and other marketing channels, with an understanding of KPIs to optimize performance.
- Strong business acumen, including Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Project Management, and Operations.
- Strategic and proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, thinks several steps ahead, and drives results with limited direction.
- Collaborative and business-minded problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
- Exceptional communicator and relationship builder who asks insightful questions, uncovers opportunities, and influences stakeholders through clear, compelling communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners, able to partner and influence to drive projects to completion.
- Strong preference for proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, and Asana (or equivalent) and experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Power BI.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is an asset but not required.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week based on business needs between regular office hours Monday – Saturday (9 AM – 5:30PM). Our downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St., which is nearby Osgoode and St. Andrew stations or a 10-minute walk from Union Station.
Position Pay Range
$85,122.00 - $117,042.75 CAD annually
Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
