JOB DESCRIPTION

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Community Health Research Group and participate in the European project "Understanding and preventing the impact of endocrine disruptors on the hypothalamus-pituitary axis in sensitive populations" (HYPIEND, Grant Agreement No. 101137440), funded under the HORIZON-HLTH-2023-ENVHLTH-02 – Environment and Health (Single Stage – 2023) call.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent the institution within the HYPIEND project consortium.
  • Conduct study initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, following the monitoring plan established by the project consortium.
  • Monitor the progress of the study and collaborate in the preparation of follow-up and annual reports, according to the requests of the Project Manager.
  • Recruit patients, if additional recruitment beyond the existing cohort is required.
  • Carry out any other duties necessary to achieve the objectives of the HYPIEND project within the project implementation period.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE

  • PhD in Medical Sciences.
  • Master's degree in Research Methodology.
  • Experience in prospective studies (patient recruitment, follow-up, and biological sample management).
  • Clinical experience in pregnancy follow-up.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably in tertiary care hospitals.
  • Knowledge of Epigenetics and/or Fetal Medicine.
  • High level of spoken and written English.


WHAT WE OFFER

  • Permanent contract under the Science Law 14/2011, part-time (20 hours per week).
  • Starting date: mid-September 2026.
  • Gross annual salary of €16,427, distributed over 12 monthly payments.
