Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Always providing exceptional customer service
- Adhere to Legends Global procedures and policies.
- Assist and direct guests to appropriate destinations, i.e. concessions, restrooms, meeting rooms, etc.
- Serve as ticket seller or taker and/or usher for events requiring these services.
- Assist with last-minute pre-event needs such set-up, decorating, finding materials, etc.
- Provide special accommodation for wheelchairs and other physically disabled patrons
- Ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises
- Assist in controlling unusual circumstances and events during fire, storm, riots and other emergencies.
- Assist with crowd control inside and outside of premises.
- Handle any disturbances or problems that may arise during event or at the facility. If necessary, escort disruptive individuals to security, managers, and/or off premises
- Report any problems concerning the event to the Event Services Manager
- Responsible for allowing only valid credentials into specific areas of the building while not permitting food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages to leave certain spaces or enter the facility
- Expected to fill in any position as needed during any point of the event
- Give door checks to patrons who are temporarily leaving establishments
- Assist in the closing of the building after events or shift
- Assist the Event Set Up Team to expedite set-up and teardown events when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to work individually but mostly as a team is essential
- Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications, problem solving, and detail oriented
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others
- Work in a fast-paced work environment and undertake multiple tasks at the same time
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able speak, read, and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees
