The Role:
As a KC-30A Field Service Representative, you'll work alongside RAAF operations and maintenance teams, helping keep one of Australia's most important air mobility and air-to-air refuelling capabilities available and mission ready. This is a hands-on role for an experienced licensed engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working directly with operators, and being trusted to make informed decisions when aircraft availability is on the line.
The team supports Amberley operations around the clock and provides technical support wherever the aircraft goes. That includes domestic and international travel alongside Squadron activities when required. You'll work closely with maintainers, engineers, program stakeholders and Defence personnel, acting as a key link between the flight line and the broader sustainment team.
Success in this role is as much about people as it is technical expertise. The strongest performers build relationships quickly, work through challenges pragmatically and help resolve issues without creating unnecessary friction.

- Support aircraft availability through troubleshooting, defect resolution and practical technical guidance.
