Proactively managing stock to minimise wastage, unnecessary expenditure and obsolescence.
Liaising with suppliers and monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the services provided to the hospital.
Working with suppliers to resolve issues and support the delivery of an efficient and reliable supply service.
Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with Heads of Department and colleagues across the hospital.

Managing product catalogues, vendor information and price files, ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date.
Ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant use of materials throughout the hospital.
Working collaboratively with the Central Procurement and Supply Chain Team to support wider organisational objectives.
Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and overall effectiveness of the materials management function.
Reviewing existing systems and processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Providing a professional, responsive and customer-focused service to departments throughout the hospital.
