Salary: $21/hour and up to $2.86/hour from our Monthly Bonus Incentive Program!

Job Type: Full-time   

Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

  Lignetics is a leading manufacturer of renewable wood products with over 30 years of experience. We transform recycled wood materials into high-quality products, including wood pellets for home heating and grilling, animal bedding, and wood fiber-based cat litter.

Summary

Lignetics is seeking a dependable Forktruck Operator to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting and stacking tons of finished wood pellets, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring products are safely stored and prepared for shipment.

Forktruck Operator Responsibilities

• Safely operate forktrucks to load and unload trucks and transport finished products throughout the facility.
• Move, stack, and organize tons of bagged wood pellets in designated storage areas.
• Count finished product inventory, verify quantities, and report discrepancies.
• Verify outgoing shipments against packing slips, weight tickets, and shipping documentation.
• Ensure outgoing loads are properly secured, documented, and sealed.
• Move and wrap completed products for storage or shipment.
• Complete daily forktruck inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and storage area.
• Assist with production and other material handling duties as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous forktruck, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to successfully complete company forktruck training.

Ability to accurately count inventory, perform basic math, and read shipping documentation.

Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and commitment to safety.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
