Job Summary
The Vice President of Distribution is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and expanding the distribution channels for our Medicare-focused Field Marketing Organization (FMO). This individual will develop and execute strategies to enhance agent recruitment, training, retention, and overall distribution performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with company objectives.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to grow market share and achieve revenue goals.
- Identify emerging opportunities within the Medicare market and create actionable plans.
Agent Recruitment and Development:
- Lead efforts to recruit, onboard, and train insurance agents and agencies specializing in Medicare products.
- Establish agent development programs to enhance performance and compliance.
Sales Leadership:
- Drive sales initiatives to maximize Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans enrollment.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all distribution activities adhere to CMS regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to manage audits and reduce risk exposure.
Team Leadership:
- Build and manage a high-performing distribution team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to regional sales directors and other team members.
Market and Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with carrier partners and key stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
