As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, maintaining required entry documentation, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, hazardous-condition notifications, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation; communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
