Location: Richardson, TX (100% Onsite – 5 days/week, Monday–Friday, Local Candidates ONLY)

Salary: $141,000 / year (No relocation assistance provided)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Application Developer to join our team at our headquarters in Richardson, TX. In this role, you will collaborate with a global team of Product Owners, Business Solution Architects, and Developers to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable digital solutions. You will lead technical designs, hands-on coding, and release cycles while optimizing our SAP Commerce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development:
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions within the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform and SAP CPQ, integrating with SAP ECC, CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), and external web services.
  • Perform hands-on coding, refactoring, and performance optimization for complex user stories.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues (e.g., memory leaks, thread dumps) and optimize backend services.
  • Lead technical code reviews, participate in enterprise-level design reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Create custom AI skills/agents (using Claude AI or similar) to automate repetitive tasks, improve governance, and document team context.
• Release Management:
  • Take ownership of release cycles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and manage change approvals for new/updated applications.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and oversee automated testing frameworks.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical plans through clear communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Guide and mentor backend developers in Java/Spring best practices, code quality, and Hybris-specific development standards.
  • Stay current with emerging digital technologies to continuously evolve the enterprise digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

• Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• SAP Commerce & CPQ: 5+ years of hands-on development experience within the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform, with strong preference for at least 2 years utilizing the SAP CPQ (Configure Price Quote) module.
• B2B & Domain Expertise: Solid functional understanding of B2B sales processes, including Configure to Order and Engineer to Order workflows.
• Architecture: In-depth knowledge of Headless Architecture using Spartacus (SAP Composable Storefront) or ReactJS-based front ends alongside OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs.
• Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Java (J2EE) and the Spring Framework (Spring Core, MVC, Security, Integration).
• AI & Automation: Practical experience applying AI development tools (such as Claude AI or similar) using structured planning and environment management.
• Agile & Problem Solving: Proven experience in solutioning mid- to large-scale B2B SAP Commerce projects within a fast-paced, highly Agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) migration projects.
• Full-stack development experience utilizing ReactJS.
• Experience building custom automation workflows and skills using AI tools.
