Software Development Engineer

Summary

Join our Revenue Management Solutions team and help shape the future of airline offers and pricing. You will work on solutions that process large volumes of data to help airlines forecast demand, optimize availability, and offer the right price at the right time.

As part of the FirstAID team, you will combine software engineering with a DevOps mindset to support our cloud transformation and ensure the stability of our Revenue Management platform. Working in a broad technical environment that includes C++, scripting, databases, CI/CD, and Azure, you will collaborate with development and customer-oriented teams to improve developer experience, production reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve software components, primarily using C++ and scripting languages;
• Support production environments and help resolve technical incidents efficiently;
• Contribute to the stability and reliable execution of Revenue Management Solutions in Azure;
• Collaborate with development teams on automation, local development, and developer experience;
• Support CI/CD, deployment, and change management activities;
• Assist customer-oriented teams with technical requirements and new customer implementations;
• Contribute to cloud migration, performance improvements, and technical debt reduction;
• Work with databases and batch-processing environments across a broad technical ecosystem.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Strong software development knowledge in C++;
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell;
• Knowledge of at least one additional area: CI/CD, production support, cloud technologies, or database systems;
• Familiarity with tools such as OpenShift, ArgoCD, Helm, Artifactory, Azure, Oracle, or MongoDB is a plus;
• Interest in combining software engineering with DevOps, SRE, or production-support activities;
• Strong communication skills in English and confidence collaborating across technical teams;
• Agile, collaborative, and quality-focused mindset;
• Comfortable learning new technologies and working across a varied technical stack.
