WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The CCure Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, configuration, and support of the Software House C•CURE 9000 physical access control system. This role manages access control operations, credentialing, system integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, and security compliance while partnering with Security, Facilities, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure a secure and efficient access management program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Access Control Administration

  • Administer and maintain the C•CURE 9000 access control platform and associated databases.
  • Provision, modify, suspend, and revoke access permissions based on approved business requests.
  • Create and manage cardholder records, badges, access levels, schedules, and clearance groups.
  • Maintain access control hardware inventory, including readers, controllers, panels, and associated devices.
  • Ensure accuracy of cardholder data and access permissions.

System Monitoring & Operations

  • Monitor system health, alarms, and event activity.
  • Investigate and resolve access control incidents, system failures, and hardware outages.
  • Support badge printing, credential management, and visitor access processes.
  • Perform routine audits of access permissions and security configurations.
  • Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Integration & Technical Support

  • Support integrations between CCure and enterprise systems such as: 
    • Active Directory
    • HRIS platforms
    • Identity Management solutions
    • Video Management Systems (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon)
    • Visitor Management Systems
  • Coordinate upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot software, database, network, and hardware issues.
  • Work with vendors and support teams to resolve escalated issues.

Security & Compliance

  • Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Maintain audit records and support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to company security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate physical security risks related to access control systems.
  • Assist with incident investigations and security reporting.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate and distribute access control reports and metrics.
  • Create custom queries and reports to support security operations.
  • Analyze system activity and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for stakeholders.

Project Support

  • Participate in physical security projects, facility expansions, and office moves.
  • Assist with access control system implementations and migrations.
  • Collaborate with Security, IT, Facilities, and business units on system enhancements.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for security systems.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience administering CCure 9000 or similar enterprise access control systems.
  • Experience with physical security technologies, badge management, and access control administration.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience troubleshooting network-connected security devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA: 

  • Software House C•CURE 9000 certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments with multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of physical security standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with: 
    • Lenel OnGuard
    • Genetec Security Center
    • Milestone Systems
    • Active Directory
    • PowerShell scripting
    • SQL reporting and query development
  • Experience with visitor management systems and identity governance solutions.
