Position Summary
We’re seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our clinical team with direct patient care, clinical procedures, patient communication, and daily clinic operations. The CNA will help prepare patients for appointments and procedures while maintaining a safe, organized, and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medication and allergy information, and reason for visit. 
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures and communicate relevant information to providers. 
• Assist with office procedures, including preparing procedure trays and maintaining sterile technique. 
• Collect and process specimens in accordance with OSHA and CLIA/COLA standards. 
• Communicate with patients by phone, including triaging calls and completing telephone encounters. 
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation. 
• Assist with inventory management, medical supplies, and equipment maintenance. 
• Provide patients with information regarding physician orders and procedures. 
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment. 
• Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff and assist with training new employees. 
• Transport patients and equipment as needed. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications
Required

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent 
• BLS certification 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office practices 
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent attendance 
• Ability to maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and coworkers 
• Ability to pass a pre-employment nursing assistant skills assessment 

Preferred

• High school diploma 
• Previous hospital or healthcare experience 
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software 
• Experience working in an outpatient or specialty healthcare setting
