What is the role?

Based in our London office and reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, this role will focus on supporting the Senior Risk Manager within Risk Operations in keeping the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework live and effective across all pillars of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, up to date Risk and Control Register, contributing to meaningful risk output, and playing a key role in project management and ongoing governance matters such as the policy schedule and risk assessments.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Senior Risk Manager in producing and communicating the annual ERM plan.
• Manage assigned risk assessments and projects, contributing to others as required.
• Support the ERM Team in reporting processes on key plans, projects, and initiatives, as well as managing stakeholder expectations and escalating issues and concerns promptly.
• Direct and support the embedding of risk management activities across key change initiatives, including acquisitions.
• Ensure the Risk and Control Register remains live and accurate.
• Support Risk Business Partners across the organisation.
• Support the production of high-quality risk management information and reports.
• Assist with ongoing administrative tasks as needed.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong analytical, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to identify risks, trends, root causes, and mitigations.
• Solid understanding of risk management processes and frameworks.
• Ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving capability.
