But we’re more than one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as the main IT lead at the Mumbai facility. Coordinate daily functions to maintain stable, secure, and detailed services. Manage incidents and requests with clear SLAs for timely resolution. Monitor experience metrics and prioritize improvements important to users.
  • Direct local groups and vendors to offer high-quality, concierge-level help for employees, leadership teams, and VIP collaborators. Guarantee operational readiness for key business meetings and events. Encourage a user-centered support culture.
  • Collaboration and Event Technology: Handle and support video conferencing, meeting rooms, and collaboration technologies; coordinate testing and readiness checks; provide onsite support to enable townhalls, leadership meetings, board meetings, and other key events with zero-defect execution.
  • Projects and Continuous Improvement: Lead and support local technology projects and deployments; partner with regional and global teams to implement initiatives at the site; find opportunities to streamline processes, improve user experience, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Compliance and Asset Management: Ensure site compliance with company IT policies, standards, and processes; maintain accurate IT asset records and support audits; drive local security, compliance, and governance activities; identify operational risks and raise issues appropriately.
  • Vendor and Collaborator Management: Govern local third-party performance and align services to business needs; serve as the local point of contact for technology-related requirements; communicate plans, status, and risks clearly to collaborators.
  • Risk Management and Resilience: Anticipate and mitigate operational risks; ensure continuity for critical services and events; create clear playbooks so the team can respond calmly and effectively under pressure.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Site IT operations, end-user support, workplace technology, or related IT service delivery roles.
  • Proven experience in Site IT Operations and End User Computing support.
  • Experience managing local IT support teams and third-party vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace technologies, collaboration tools, and video conferencing platforms.
  • Experience supporting townhalls, leadership events, and business-critical meetings.
  • Experience managing local IT projects and site technology initiatives.
  • Understanding of IT compliance, asset management, and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant vendor certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise collaboration ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco) and modern AV/VC platforms.
  • Proficiency with ITSM tools and analytics (e.g., ServiceNow) to drive service insights and automation.
  • Experience in regulated environments and audit readiness, including asset lifecycle and configuration management.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted service operations, digital experience monitoring, or automation for incident prevention.
  • Strong understanding of networking, identity, and endpoint management; ability to script or automate routine tasks.
