Description

Experience with CV hardware accelerators and OpenCV is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing computer vision applications or libraries. Strong understanding of CV concepts, algorithms, and deep‑learning‑based vision pipelines, with a track record of delivering commercial CV solutions. Proficiency in designing and implementing products using vision APIs, following established standards and best practices. Strong coding and debugging skills in C/C++ and Python, with the ability to rapidly prototype and evaluate CV features on device. Experience with CV and ML libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch (TorchVision), including image processing and deep learning workflows. Working knowledge of embedded systems and architectures, especially hardware CV accelerators. Experience producing high‑quality API documentation and technical materials. Familiarity with commercial software development practices and SDLC methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. Lead the design and implementation of computer vision features and on-device prototyping using the Snapdragon Vision API solution. Support engineering teams in building, integrating, and deploying CV APIs for commercial products. Develop clear and thorough technical documentation, diagrams, and sample materials that showcase the capabilities of the Snapdragon Vision API for end‑application developers. Ensure deliverables meet schedule expectations and KPI targets, proactively identifying and addressing risks. Collaborate closely with system, software, hardware, and product teams throughout CV feature prototyping and commercialization. Contribute effectively in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment with distributed cross‑functional teams.
