Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Controls Professional- Scheduler to support scheduling, project controls, reporting, and governance activities for major engineering and construction projects located in New York, NY. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, analyzing project performance, supporting project controls processes, and providing technical expertise to project teams throughout the lifecycle of capital and engineering programs. This position is a hybrid position and requires 3 days in office.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction scheduling and project controls, strong proficiency with Primavera P6, and a demonstrated ability to perform baseline and schedule update reviews for complex projects.
Role accountabilities:
- The Project Controls Unit is seeking a Project Controls Professional to support project scheduling and controls activities for major engineering and construction projects.
- The consultant will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Conduct baseline and schedule update reviews; prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc schedule performance reports; analyze schedule and cost variances through critical path and schedule risk analysis.
- Maintain resource and engineering coding structures; monitor project status and resource updates; document project controls procedures and execution plans.
- Develop scheduling standards and guidelines; provide technical guidance to project controls staff; and support the administration, implementation, and training of Primavera scheduling software and related reporting tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be considered for this position, the candidates must demonstrate the minimum required education, technical qualifications, and experience outlined below:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering or related degree
- +7 years of professional experience in Construction Management and Scheduling
- Experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft project is a plus
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Experience in Baseline and Update Reviews
- Explain two projects that demonstrate your Baseline and update review experience

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
