Junior Commercial Operations Manager

As Junior Commercial Operations Manager, your role is to ensure a proper bid preparation, get required approvals and negotiate our offer with our customer until contract’s signature. You are in charge of risk analysis from technical, operational, commercial and legal perspectives for Core business opportunities. You work in partnership with the Sales to build the best offer for our customer while guaranteeing our offer compliance, mitigate the risks and protect our company’s interest.

Scope description :

• Similar to a project manager for offers, you are in charge of the proposal development and the offer quality & compliance to our standards.
• Set-up a proper rhythm with the offer team to ensure the respect of bid submission date
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers and process
• Analyse, understand and mitigate the risks (technical, operational, commercial, terms & conditions) for Core process opportunities
• Build the quotation (Financial Summary) aligned with our standards
• Write the commercial offer
• Present deal reviews and get approvals from management for risk deviations
• Define a commercial strategy with the Sales and negotiate with the customer
• Update our commercial tool in a timely manner

 

Required qualification

• Equivalent Bac+5 (engineering or commercial degree)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Capacity to deliver in a matrix-based organization
• French & English speaker

 

Desired characteristics

• Experience in commercial (including negotiation) or project management
• Knowledge in terms & conditions
• Knowledge of nuclear power plants & nuclear business
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
