The role

ALS Geochemistry has a newly created opportunity for a Support Governance Supervisor to join our Kalgoorlie operations.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our safety culture, working closely with Operations, HSE, and Maintenance teams to keep our people safe, our hazards managed, and our compliance on track.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about safety, loves working with people, and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Full training is provided.

In this full-time role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Championing hazard reporting and driving a positive safety culture across the site

  • Partnering with Operations, HSE, and Maintenance teams to implement solutions and close out hazard reports

  • Conducting daily inspections and site walkthroughs

  • Supporting employees with medical appointments and doctor visits

  • Leading risk assessment projects in collaboration with sectional leaders

  • Managing monthly HSE playbooks with Operations and HSE teams

  • Maintaining the compliance tracker and HSE portal

  • The ability to quickly build rapport and trust across all levels of the organisation

  • A calm, organised, and common-sense approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills
