About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused HR professional to join our New Zealand team as a Human Resources Business Partner. Based in Manurewa and reporting to the NZ HR Manager, you will partner with leaders across New Zealand supporting a broad range of people initiatives across the employee lifecycle including performance and talent management, engagement initiatives and organisational change.
This is a dynamic role that blends business partnering with operational excellence. You'll work closely with leaders on people matters, contribute to projects, support policy and process improvements, and help deliver a positive employee experience. You'll also play a key role in managing HR systems, reporting, compliance and ensuring our people processes run efficiently and effectively.

What You Will Do
Partner with leaders across New Zealand to provide practical HR advice and support.
Coach managers on performance, development and employee relations matters.
Support talent, succession, engagement and capability initiatives.
Contribute to HR projects, business improvement initiatives and organisational change activities.
Assist with the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and people processes.
Manage HR documentation, reporting and employee records with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain HR systems and ensure the integrity of employee data.
Support employment compliance activities and key employee lifecycle processes.
Build strong relationships and deliver a high-quality customer experience for leaders and employees.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
About You
You're a highly organised, customer-focused HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and making a difference.
You are comfortable moving between stakeholder conversations, HR projects and operational HR activities. Agile and adaptable, you thrive in fast-paced environments, manage competing priorities with ease and understand the importance of both strong relationships and timeliness.
You will bring:
Bachelor of Human Resources or demonstrated relevant experience
5 years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
Strong administration capability with exceptional attention to detail.
A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to take ownership.
Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
A flexible, agile and solutions-focused mindset.
A passion for delivering exceptional service to leaders and employees.
The confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
A genuine team-player mentality and desire to contribute to a high-performing HR team.
Experience within a manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, industrial or other complex operational environment will be highly regarded.
