Let's Talk about the Role

As Market Intelligence Leader, you will be the trusted voice of the market for Grid Solutions, turning data into insight and insight into decisions that shape our commercial strategy.

You will collect, validate and interpret information on markets, competitors and customers, transforming it into clear analysis that guides strategic thinking and operational decisions across the business. Working closely with commercial, sales and leadership teams, you will bring a sharp understanding of market trends, pricing dynamics and competitor activity to the table, helping GE Vernova stay ahead in a fast-moving energy landscape.

This is a role for someone who enjoys connecting the dots, challenging assumptions, and influencing outcomes through evidence-based recommendations.

• Building a comprehensive, up-to-date view of markets, competitors and customers to inform commercial strategy.
• Delivering clear analysis on market share, pricing, demand forecasts and competitive positioning to support decision-making at every level.
• Interpreting industry trends and business challenges to recommend practical improvements to products, processes and services.
• Leading creative problem-solving on complex market questions, drawing on multiple internal and external sources to reach well-founded conclusions.
• Collaborating with commercial, sales and leadership teams across countries, product lines and customer groups to shape sound, data-driven decisions.
• Influencing policy and best practice across large or diverse territories, ensuring consistency and quality in how market intelligence is used.
• Communicating complex insights in a way that is clear, compelling and actionable for audiences at all levels of the business.

Skills for Success

You should be someone with substantive experience in market intelligence, marketing analysis or a related commercial field, who combines strong analytical thinking with the confidence to influence stakeholders at every level.

• The ability to collect, validate and interpret complex market and competitor data with accuracy and rigour.
• The capability to translate data into clear, actionable insight that supports strategic and operational decisions.
• An understanding of industry trends and how they shape commercial opportunities and risks.
• The confidence to question conflicting information and draw sound conclusions from multiple sources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings simply and persuasively.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• A collaborative, curious mindset with genuine interest in the energy sector and its evolving markets.

A formal education and university degree in a relevant subject are highly valued, but we will also consider your total experience and professional achievements.

Where and How You'll Work

This is a permanent position based in our Stafford office. We have a hybrid working model that gives you the flexibility to work from home while staying connected with your team. We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our Stafford office at least three days a week.
