Caregiver - PRN

• Answer call lights promptly.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout your shift.
• Assist all residents in the activities of daily living according to their care plan (including but not limited to showering, dressing, toileting, etc.).  
• Accurately measure, record and report vital signs of residents.
• Transport residents to and from meals and activities.
• Assist with delivering meals to resident rooms as necessary.
• Make beds as needed.
• Deliver and put away laundry as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality for all residents according to HIPPA Laws.
• Create Progress notes regarding behavior, concerns, etc.
• Follow up on and chart on all SPAs and behavior plans.
• Report complaints or grievances made by residents to the Director of Nursing.
• Participate and cooperate with any facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing Services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

18 years or older

Recommended

CPR/First aid Certificate

Food Handler’s Certificate

Reliable transportation

Ability to lift 25 or more pounds

Basic computer skills

Basic knowledge of PCC

Good communication skills
