Job Description

As a Relationship Manager at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing tailored financial solutions, and building strong, long-lasting relationships.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Manage and expand a designated portfolio of high-net-worth individual clients, identifying their financial needs and objectives.
* Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
* Develop and present comprehensive financial solutions, including investment products, wealth management services, and lending facilities, aligned with client needs.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets for various banking products and services.
* Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide relevant and timely advice to clients.
* Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with internal product specialists and support teams to deliver integrated solutions and excellent client service.
* Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting activities.
* Prepare and present regular reports on client portfolio performance and sales activities.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge across all UOB offerings and the broader financial industry.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with high-net-worth clients.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
* Strong understanding of financial products, investment instruments, and wealth management solutions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin or other local dialects would be an advantage.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) are highly desirable.
* Sound knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
