Surgical Product Specialist

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Product Specialist to join a close-knit team to drive sales of product, help manage channel partnerships, and assist in new business initiatives across government hospitals, private healthcare institutions, and specialist clinics in primarily in Singapore. Reporting into the SVP, BD, you will also be expected to help identify and build new revenue streams — through new accounts, new market segments, and strategic partnerships — making business development an equal pillar alongside sales execution.

 

Role:

• Conduct product training for distributors (Singapore and APAC)
• Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers at government and restructured hospitals, private hospitals, and specialist ENT and surgical clinics
• Conduct product presentations and in-service training for surgeons, nurses, and clinical procurement teams
• Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting, clinical demonstration, tender submission
• Monitor account health, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure high post-sale satisfaction
• Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets primarily in Singapore and selected APAC territories and accounts
• Identify and evaluate untapped market segments and emerging customer groups within the healthcare landscape
• Prospect and qualify new accounts and opportunities

 

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in sales within the medical device or relevant healthcare industry, experience in ENT or audiology will be a plus.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage both clinical and administrative stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to open new markets or accounts
• Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
• Willingness to travel regionally as required
