Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to independently perform a wide variety of conventional and moderately complex architectural assignments, applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques to develop innovative and compliant design solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and design criteria, and prepare related reports.
- Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and presentation materials prepared by architectural design teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Prepare construction specifications and detailed material and equipment requisitions, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate architectural work with engineering and construction teams throughout project execution.
- Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Architectural Designers and Drafters assigned to projects.
- Apply professional judgment and architectural expertise to develop original and practical design solutions.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or equivalent); Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of related architectural design experience.
- Professional Architect registration/license is required.
- Working knowledge of architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and industry concepts.
- Strong understanding of building systems integration, construction methodologies, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD, as well as other standard design tools.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Ability to develop design concepts and translate them into coordinated construction documentation.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants, including Structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and construction administration processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing defined project scopes.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills.
