Description
Under general supervision, functions as a technician performing a variety of studio, classroom, clerical, and technical duties of moderate complexity as appropriate to the diverse operations and specialized procedures.
*This is a student position that will work during the Fall 2026 academic semester with Professional Crafts programs. Students must be enrolled in the program and able to work flexible hours, including weekends. Work is performed in the studio lab.
Diploma or higher in a field related to professional crafts.
Experience working in an educational setting with a high level of student and public interaction.
Experience working in an art/craft studio environment.
Haywood Community College (HCC) is part of the North Carolina Community College System and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). - Maintain clean and safe studio conditions
- Performing general safety audits
- Supervising students in an open lab setting
- Assist with coordination of program and recruiting events
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
- Regularly communicate and interact with public and arts community
Diploma or higher in a field related to professional crafts.
Experience working in an educational setting with a high level of student and public interaction.
Experience working in an art/craft studio environment.
