Description

To assist admitted students throughout their enrollment process by evaluating their progress in meeting essential course requirements. These requirements encompass acquiring their CDL Learner’s Permit (CLP), undergoing a DOT Physical, obtaining a Pre-Hire letter, confirming tuition payment and funding, and ensuring successful job placement. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 


Customer Service: Strive to deliver excellent customer service to build positive relationships, enhance TCDLS & T2T reputation, and foster customer loyalty.  

  • Clearly define and convey the training schedule(s) and attendance expectations to both potential and existing students, ensuring compliance with TCDLS & T2T guidelines and state regulations. 
  • Monitor the interest, attendance, and satisfactory progress of both potential and enrolled students through regular follow-up. 
  • Communicate relevant rules and regulations from state and local departments of motor vehicles to current students. 
  • Support students in addressing issues related to training, attendance, and scheduling throughout their journey from enrollment to graduation. 
  • Scrutinize applications to verify the accuracy and completeness of provided information, including details such as work history and license history. 
  • Initiate communication with applicants who do not advance and re-engage them in the process.  
  • Conduct post-cohort evaluations upon completion and communicate the findings to the executive team. 

Internal processes: Understand and implement those processes that typically encompass various functions such as human resources, finance, operations, and administration. 

  • Adhere to the standard operating procedures established by TCDLS & T2T for Class Coordinators 
  • Provide updates to the Admissions Manager on class attendance benchmarks, issues, enrollment and attendance progress, weekly surveys, after-action reviews, and any other mandated reporting requirements. 
  • Verify that all student application documents, and associated enrollment items are gathered and submitted correctly, following the guidelines outlined in accordance with TCDLS&T2T and State regulations. 
  • Organize both enrollment and post-enrollment meetings to finalize the school enrollment pack. Assist in scheduling the enrollment meeting with the Admissions team. 
  • Record and keep updated notes on every client in the CDL CRM system, along with maintaining the relevant documents in the CRM drive, documenting the progress and noting any significant stages, events, or actions during their journey. 
  • Confirm student funding before commencement of vehicle training.  If an error in funding has been identified, notify respective Admissions Team member. 
  • Arrange all necessary travel and accommodations for students from out-of-town and provide them with their itinerary and reporting instructions. 
  • Any other tasks as assigned. 

Requirements

Education and Certifications: 

High School Diploma or equivalent 

Valid drivers license 


Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task 
  • Strong proficiency with computer and web-based programs / software 
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Web Based CRM 
  • Strong Customer service over the phone and in person 
  • Ability to project and maintain a positive and professional image through participation in staff meetings, in-service education, and selected professional growth meetings, training, and activities. 
  • Ability to confer and work cooperatively with co-workers. 
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances. 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and team environment.
