Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NDT Level 2 Inspectors for projects located in the Seattle, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35-38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities defects using NDT methods of inspection
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Organize and report test results. Speaks and writes clearly and informatively responds well to question
- Practices active listening exhibits discretion. Communicates technical findings using industry standard
- Perform specialized inspections
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
- Communicates daily with lead about work priorities and progress of project
- Work closely with level 3 to identify and remove obstacle
- Actively participate in safety initiatives, incident investigations etc
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- NDT level 2 certification dye penetrant or magnetic particle to national aerospace standard
- NAS 410 certification required
