Job Description
As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Incident Response in Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, document activities, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
- Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures while assisting with the implementation of site-specific access requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
