Senior Manager, Energy Trading

We are looking for Senior Manager, Energy Trading for Business Unit Energy to ensure optimized energy cost, supply, and risk management through trading and sourcing activities. The position can be located in Helsinki or in one of the Stora Enso mill sites in Finland.

As Senior Manager, Energy Trading, your responsibilities include

• Managing electricity and fuel trading operations, including PVO/TVO operations
• Overseeing sourcing processes and related administration
• Conducting energy market analysis and hedging
• Delivering transparent reporting of trading results

Who are we looking for?

In order to be successful in this role we expect you to have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Proven experience within the energy business and energy trading
• Previous experience in a supervisory, or team leadership role is considered an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholder
• Flexibility, initiative and the ability to be a process owner
• Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
• Established professional network and/or strong networking capabilities
• Willingness to travel as required by the role
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Finnish is mandatory; Swedish is a benefit
