Description
Pluto is looking for a Head of Go-to-Market to build and lead the commercial engine for our compute business.
This is a highly hands-on role. Your primary responsibility will be to find buyers, build relationships with compute users, understand their capacity needs, and close transactions. You will also help shape Pluto’s broader market presence through partnerships, events, content, community, and brand strategy.
You will work directly with the founders to build Pluto’s go-to-market motion from the ground up. This means sourcing customers, managing the sales pipeline, negotiating deals, developing partnerships, organizing industry events, managing Pluto’s social presence, and turning market attention into revenue.
The ideal candidate is hungry, persistent, commercially sharp, and excited to help build the market for one of the most important resources in the AI economy: GPU compute.
What You’ll Do
Sales and Revenue
- Sell GPU compute capacity to AI labs, startups, enterprises, research organizations, and other compute buyers
- Build and manage a pipeline of customers looking for H100, H200, B200, A100, L40S, and other GPU capacity
- Source new buyers through outbound, referrals, partnerships, conferences, existing relationships, and ecosystem mapping
- Understand customer requirements across GPU type, region, duration, price, networking, storage, availability, and deployment structure
- Match buyers with compute supply from neoclouds, data centers, and infrastructure providers
- Negotiate pricing, volume, contract terms, duration, and delivery expectations
- Own customer relationships from initial outreach through execution and ongoing account management
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and become their first call when they need compute
- Build repeatable sales processes, pipeline reporting, and customer follow-up systems
- Develop a deep understanding of real-time compute pricing, demand, and customer behavior
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Work directly with the founders to define Pluto’s customer segments, positioning, sales strategy, and market priorities
- Identify the highest-value buyer personas, use cases, partnerships, and distribution channels
- Translate customer feedback into product, pricing, and market strategy
- Develop repeatable playbooks for outbound sales, partnerships, events, content, and customer conversion
- Help determine where Pluto should focus across compute brokerage, infrastructure partnerships, financial products, and platform distribution
- Track market activity across AI infrastructure, GPU supply, cloud pricing, neoclouds, and emerging compute buyers
Brand, Content, and Social Presence
- Own and grow Pluto’s social presence across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels
- Develop content that establishes Pluto as a leading voice in AI infrastructure and compute markets
- Turn market data, transactions, customer insights, and industry developments into compelling content
- Work with the founders on announcements, product launches, market commentary, and thought leadership
- Build a consistent content calendar and help grow Pluto’s audience among AI companies, infrastructure providers, investors, and financial institutions
- Ensure that Pluto’s messaging is clear, credible, and commercially effective
Events and Community
- Organize dinners, meetups, roundtables, conferences, and other events for AI infrastructure and compute market participants
- Build relationships with AI founders, infrastructure teams, neocloud operators, brokers, investors, and industry leaders
- Represent Pluto at conferences, customer meetings, and industry events
- Develop partnerships with communities, accelerators, research groups, and ecosystem organizations
- Use events and community-building initiatives to generate customers, strengthen relationships, and expand Pluto’s market presence
Partnerships
- Build commercial relationships with neoclouds, data centers, infrastructure providers, brokers, marketplaces, and other ecosystem participants
- Develop referral, distribution, and channel partnerships that generate supply, demand, and revenue
- Identify strategic opportunities with AI companies, financial institutions, and infrastructure operators
- Manage partner relationships and ensure that commercial opportunities move from conversation to execution
What We’re Looking For

- Comfort selling technical products, infrastructure, services, or complex commercial arrangements
- Strong interest in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, GPUs, data centers, and compute markets
- Ability to represent Pluto publicly through content, events, partnerships, and customer meetings
- Commercial creativity and a willingness to build processes from zero
- Strong ownership mentality and comfort being measured by revenue and market growth
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with AI labs, startups, enterprises, neoclouds, brokers, infrastructure teams, or data center operators
- Experience selling cloud services, GPUs, data center capacity, infrastructure, SaaS, or technical products
- Experience in brokerage, trading, commodities, marketplaces, financial sales, or business development
- Experience building a company’s social presence or producing industry-focused content
- Experience organizing conferences, dinners, meetups, or customer events
- Understanding of GPU supply-and-demand dynamics
- Familiarity with H100s, H200s, B200s, A100s, L40S, clusters, cloud contracts, networking, storage, and AI workloads
- Experience building partnerships or channel sales programs
- Experience working at an early-stage startup
