Description
We are looking for a Propulsion Systems Integration Engineer to lead the charge in developing high-mobility spacecraft architectures. In this role, you won’t just be a cog in a machine you will own the end-to-end lifecycle—from initial concept and rapid prototyping to flight-ready qualification—of the systems that power our next-generation orbital vehicles.
Based in the Greater Seattle Area, our client’s team is well-funded and focused on building scalable, simple, and reliable propulsion solutions that redefine how hardware moves in space.

The Mission
· Drive Hardware Delivery: Take full ownership of the development and qualification of propellant management and feed systems.
· Bridge Design and Flight: Partner with internal fluids, thermal, and structures teams to transform complex propulsion concepts into qualified, high-reliability hardware.
· Lead Technical Partnerships: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external suppliers and designers to source and qualify critical ACS components, valves, and lightweight storage solutions.
· Build the Infrastructure: Design and execute internal qualification campaigns and build the test infrastructure necessary to evaluate vehicle performance under flight-like conditions.
· Innovate for the Future: Rapidly prototype and test next-gen architectures, including advanced in-space refueling and propellant management systems.
Who You Are
· Experienced: You have 4+ years of hands-on experience developing, integrating, or testing high-reliability fluid and pressure systems.
· Hardware-First: You thrive in "hands-on" environments, supporting hardware through the rigors of integration and environmental testing.
· Collaborative: You can navigate various engineering disciplines—from avionics to thermal—and clearly communicate technical requirements to both internal teams and external partners.
· Technically Versatile: You are familiar with the "bread and butter" of spacecraft propulsion: tanks, regulators, and valves.
· Analytically Minded: You have a systems-level understanding of how propulsion impacts vehicle design and can lead root-cause analysis when things don't go as planned.

Requirements
· Work Authorization: Due to the nature of our aerospace projects, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person (Green Card holder).
· Location: Current residence in or willingness to relocate to the Seattle, WA area.
· Standards: Familiarity with aerospace qualification standards (e.g., SMC-S-016 or AIAA) is highly preferred.
