Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Managing all O&M issues related to network elements, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met. Apart from this core function, all other issues related to enterprise link elements and facilities ie: landlord complaints, customer complaints, preventive maintenance and adhoc support for planned events; are also to be managed by Operations associate.
What are you accountable for?
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining key network KPI’s which directly impacts the network’s reliability.
- To drive a 4wd vehicle to attend dockets and resolve network outage within KPI.
- Ensuring network growth by supporting sites roll out projects in order to gain coverage and dominance by expanding network footprints.
- Ensuring technology development growth by supporting its projects from core to RAN in order to meet the evolving network technology.
- Ensuring Preventive Maintenance scheduling and adherence on network elements as per requirements are done and Corrective Maintenance to follow through.
- To perform scheduled PM
- To rectify corrective maintenance captured during PM
- Able to work at height such as climbing poles and work at roof top sites.
- Ensuring constant and reliable communications with Business Units to understand its needs which unique to regions and translate them towards the network’s outputs.
- To perform drive test and surf test to check for coverage and quality.
- Ensuring prompt and immediate response to governing bodies representative (ie SKMM) on O&M related issues.
- Ensuring random sites inspection for BIS are done as per policy requirement and all feedbacks generated via the official mainstream applications.
- Ensuring constant and close communications with service provider in delivering optimum and quality support in maintaining sites
What do you need to have for this role?
- Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical , Electronics, Computer technology , IT or any technical related diplomas.
- Skill certificate level 3 & 4 with
- 1 years working experience in Electrical, Telecommunications , Mechanical, IT and computer technology.
- Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic electrical skills in single phase and 3 phase wiring.
- Basic telecommunications with mobile technology knowledge.
- Microsoft skills on PP, Excel, Word and Microsoft Access.
- Technically incline and motivated to learn telecommunications field.
- Must be able to work on shift.
- Be on call ( standby) 24 hours for the whole week.
- Must be able to drive 4WD vehicle and possess a valid driving license
