For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or similar
- High mid-to-senior level expertise in PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL Server (hands-on experience with both is highly valued)
- Experience using LLMs and AI programming assistants (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor) to augment daily development
- Conceptual or hands-on familiarity with distributed database environments, partitioning, replication, and performance tuning
- Fluency in English (at least a B2 level)
- Availability for remote work based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
