The successful candidate will perform high-throughput screens, deploy new and existing single cell profiling methods, and analyze genomic data to enable the interrogation of molecular mechanisms underlying disease states and identify candidate targets for therapeutic interventions. Working in collaboration with colleagues in the departments of Research Oncology, Translational Medicine, and/or Computational Sciences, this is a hands-on position with both experimental and computational analysis components.

The Opportunity

  • Perform high-throughput screens in cancer cell lines and models

  • Develop and apply single cell technologies to profile primary tissue samples.

  • Analyze and interpret single cell perturbation data and broader genomic data.

  • Effectively collaborate with teams within the department and across the wider organization.

  • Communicate results clearly through high-impact scientific publications and presentations.

  • Contribute to identifying new research opportunities and innovative technology applications.

Who You Are

  • Education: Doctorate degree in a relevant field, including molecular biology, cancer biology, genetics, immunology, systems biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, and/or biomedical engineering.

  • Screening Experience: Hands-on experience performing and analyzing single cell CRISPR screens.

  • Data Analysis: Experience in the analysis of single cell and genomic data using R and/or Python.

  • NGS Assay Expertise: Strong foundational background in NGS assays and molecular biology techniques.

  • Professional Skills: Excellent oral and written presentation skills.

  • Leadership: Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and lead research projects.

  • Scientific Productivity: Sustained record of productivity in the form of publications and patents.

Preferred:

  • Epigenomics: Experience with epigenomic assays and data analysis.

  • Disease Expertise: Experience in cancer biology research.
