We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research for the project titled: Cutting edge quantum photonic platform research.
A Research Fellow position is available in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at NTU. We are seeking a highly talented candidate who is highly motivated with a project to conduct the research on understanding novel quantum photonic platforms, exploring their emerging applications such as quantum light sources, quantum emitters, and advanced functionalities.
The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct experimental research on the development of novel quantum photonic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, fabrication, and characterization of quantum light sources and quantum emitters on photonic platforms.
Development of on-chip quantum light sources for quantum information applications.
Fabrication and optimization of quantum photonic devices and circuits.
Installation and operation of quantum photonic characterization setups and overseeing the progress of the project.
Job Requirements:
PhD in relevant area (electrical engineering, materials science, and physics).
Research background in solid state physics, applied physics, semiconductor materials, nanomaterials is preferred.
Research experience in fabrication and characterization of nonlinear properties.
Prior cleanroom fabrication and device experience.
Independent and can work well with a team.
