Description
Candidate will perform the following on-site activities:
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to Customer team through the diagnosis routine faults, alarm analysis, system health checks, configuration verification, and assistance during normal operation.
- Support Customer operation and maintenance personnel during testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled outages.
- Assist in identification of faults and collection of relevant technical data such as logs, sequence of events, system snapshots, and configuration details.
- Assist in Spare Parts Identification or license/patch upgrade.
- Supervision of execution of changes applied in ALSPA Controsteam Control System
- Implementation of approved software changes.
- From minor alterations to new approved mimic creations.
- Configuration of Hardware for Operator Workstations (OWS) and Engineering Workstations (EWS) such as Windows, tools/functions/patches Installation and firmware update of controller and modules (for Repair).
- Recovery from back-up to the original system and back up of OWS/EWS.
- Configuration of TMR cards (AI , DI, DO and Network Cards), speed cards, MFC cards ,
- Modules (AI, DI, DO AO) or any other as applicable for the supplied control system.
- Explanation of logic block which are used in logic creation of turbine protection, governing and auxiliary system.
- Act as the single point of contact between NPCIL and PSIPL engineering teams.
- Coordinate remote engineering support, including design clarifications, advanced Troubleshooting, and technical advice for the OEM supplied ALSPA Contro-steam Control System.
