*** Urgent - Delivery Assurance Field Representative ***Verify urgently seek an experienced Delivery Assurance Field Representative to support an urgent on-site supplier recovery assignment in Italy. Support is full-time for an initial 6-week project, to start as soon as possible.
The role will act as an on-site represenative at our customer's supplier facility, working with supplier operations, supply chain, procurement and quality teams to improve delivery visibility, support recovery actions and help restore On-Time Delivery performance for OEM and Aftermarket requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing production status, Work-In-Progress, inventory coverage, bottlenecks, capacity constraints and shipment plans, while providing clear daily updates to customer stakeholders.
Brief Job Description
- Acting as the customer representative on-site at the supplier facility.
- Reviewing supplier order books, customer demand and production priorities.
- Tracking Work-In-Progress, production orders, inventory coverage, bottlenecks and shipment status.
- Supporting supplier recovery plans and following up on agreed actions.
- Identifying risks to delivery commitments and escalating issues where required.
- Coordinating with supplier operations, supply chain, quality and procurement teams.
- Supporting visibility of material, component and subcontracted operation requirements.
- Assisting with sub-tier supplier risks where these impact delivery performance.
- Providing daily status updates on recovery progress, delivery outlook and key risks.
- Supporting weekly reporting and stakeholder reviews.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience in supply chain, supplier performance, expediting, production control, manufacturing operations or quality.
- Experience in supplier recovery, delivery assurance, operational recovery or industrial crisis management is strongly preferred.
- Aerospace manufacturing or aerospace supply chain experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of WIP tracking, production status, capacity constraints, bottleneck management and shipment follow-up.
- Ability to challenge supplier commitments, drive action closure and escalate risks in a high-pressure environment.
- Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems; SAP or AirSupply experience would be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across customer, supplier and multi-functional teams.
- Fluent English required. Italian language capability is mandatory. French would be advantageous.
- Must be available to work full-time on supplier premises in Italy for the initial 6-week assignment.
