Description
You will lead a Command Centre function responsible for continuous monitoring and operational coordination across critical systems, processes and infrastructure. You will guide teams through incidents and change, strengthen service performance, and turn customer and operational insight into better outcomes.
Profile for success
- Demonstrated leadership of a Command Centre, NOC, IT Operations or equivalent high-availability function, ideally in payments, financial services, telecommunications or another critical environment.
- Evidence of managing major incidents, customer communication, service levels, escalations and operational reporting under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing operational teams, including performance management, coaching and change adoption.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, AWS/cloud environments, ITIL Service Management, incident management and DR/BCP.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience. Matric required; degree and relevant technical or service-management certifications advantageous.
