Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support riders, visitors, and staff through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or parking patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, garages, entry and exit points, stairwells, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns, observe for policy violations, and assist with directions, general information, and/or traffic flow concerns at the location.
• Complete required documentation on incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes and/or with site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
